Mitte Juni erscheint bei Oxford University Press The Game: The Economy of Undocumented Migration from Afghanistan to Europe von Hannah Pool, wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am MPIfG. Das Werk basiert auf Pools mehrfach ausgezeichneter Dissertation und bietet einen tiefgehenden ethnografischen Einblick in die Erfahrungen afghanischer Geflüchteter auf ihrem Weg nach Europa. mehr

Luuk Schmitz und Timo Seidl haben den Best Paper Prize 2024 des Journal of European Public Policy (JEPP) erhalten. Ausgezeichnet wurde ihr Artikel „Moving On to Not Fall Behind? Danielle Pullan, ehemalige Doktorandin an der IMPRS-SPCE, verlässt die Universität zu Köln und wechselt in die USA. Ab August übernimmt sie eine Stelle als Assistenzprofessorin für Politikwissenschaft mit Tenure-Track an der Georgia College & State University an, einer kleinen Liberal-Arts-Universität im Bundesstaat Georgia. mehr
