Birgit Apitzsch Joins Executive Board of Society of Friends and Former Associates

The Society of Friends and Former Associates of the MPIfG elected Birgit Apitzsch as a new board member at its November 2022 general meeting. Birgit Apitzsch has been Professor of Sociology/Labor, Economy and Welfare at Ruhr University Bochum since October 2021. Her connection with the MPIfG dates back to when she was studying for her doctorate between 2005 and 2009. more

Arianna Tassinari Joins University of Bologna as Assistant Professor

Arianna Tassinari, a senior researcher at the MPIfG, is taking up her post as assistant professor in the Department of Political and Social Sciences at the University of Bologna in January 2023. more
