Jens Beckert is a member of the Academia Europaea
Jens Beckert, Director at the MPIfG, was elected as a member of the Academia Europaea in July 2021. The Academy, which has its headquarters in London, aims to promote European research, advise governments and international organizations in scientific matters, and further interdisciplinary and international research. Founded in 1988, it currently counts around 4,500 members, among them 72 Nobel Laureates.
