International Cooperation

The MPIfG considers international cooperation to be the most productive organizational form of comparative research. As part of a worldwide network of research institutions and researchers in the social sciences, the MPIfG cooperates closely with several research institutes working in similar fields abroad, a selection of which are listed below.

A long-standing and close collaboration is ongoing between the MPIfG and Sciences Po University in Paris, one of the leading universities in France in the social sciences.  more
The MPIfG is currently working with two partners in Latin America – one is Diego Portales University, which hosts a Max Planck Partner Group, the other is Universidad Central de Chile with a long-term cooperation agreement. more
The doctoral students of the International Max Planck Research School on the Social and Political Constitution of the Economy (IMPRS-SPCE) have the opportunity to spend a semester at a renowned research institution abroad. more
