International Cooperation

The MPIfG considers international cooperation to be the most productive organizational form of comparative research. As part of a worldwide network of research institutions and researchers in the social sciences, the MPIfG cooperates closely with several research institutes working in similar fields abroad, a selection of which are listed below.

A long-standing and close collaboration is ongoing between the MPIfG and Sciences Po University in Paris, one of the leading universities in France in the social sciences.  more
The MPIfG has been cooperating with the Max Planck Partner Group for the Study of the Economy and the Public located at the Universidad Central de Chile since 2019. The Max Planck Partner Group on the Politics of Green Growth in Emerging Economies was set up in cooperation with the Diego Portales University in Santiago de Chile in 2023. more
The doctoral students of the International Max Planck Research School on the Social and Political Constitution of the Economy (IMPRS-SPCE) have the opportunity to spend a semester at a renowned research institution abroad. more
