New Post for Donato Di Carlo

June 15, 2023

As of June, Donato Di Carlo has joined Luiss (Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli) in Rome as founder and managing director of the LUHNIP Hub for New Industrial Policy and Economic Governance and lecturer in Political Economy. LUHNIP was launched with funding from the political economy think tank Dezernat Zukunft in March 2023 and conducts research focusing on the relationships between structural and macro policy. As an independent private university of social sciences connected to Confindustria, the largest trade and industrial association in Italy, Luiss is one of Italy’s leading universities for business. Prior to his new appointment, Di Carlo had worked at the MPIfG since 2015, originally as a doctoral researcher and, after being Max Weber Fellow (2020/2021) at the European University Institute in Florence, since 2020 as a senior researcher in Martin Höpner’s Research Group on the Political Economy of European Integration.
