Apply now for IMPRS-SPCE Doctoral Program

The doctoral program of the International Max Planck Research School on the Social and Political Constitution of the Economy (IMPRS-SPCE) has started a new application round. Until February 28th, online applications are possible for doctoral positions starting in fall 2021. In time for the new round of applications, the website of the IMPRS-SPCE has been redesigned to make it easier and more intuitive to navigate: More information about the graduate program and the application process can be found on https://imprs.mpifg.de as well as on the MPIfG website.
 
Germany’s first graduate program in economic sociology and political economy, the IMPRS-SPCE welcomes outstanding doctoral students in political science, sociology, and organization studies from Germany and abroad. Its research explores the social and political foundations of modern economies and examines the interrelation between economic and social action. The doctoral program is offered jointly with the Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences of the University of Cologne, and the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Duisburg-Essen.
