New Cooperation with Brown University

In January, the MPIfG and the Watson Institute for International & Public Affairs at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, agreed to a three-year collaboration covering the exchange of visiting doctoral researchers. The Watson Institute conducts social science research on critical challenges of our time, including poverty and inequality, ethnic conflict, climate change, and cyber threats. The MPIfG is committed to international cooperation as a cornerstone of comparative research and has a number of partnerships with academic institutions abroad.
