Hannah Pool Is Visiting Fellow at Oxford Refugee Studies Centre
Hannah Pool is spending the months of January to March of this year as a visiting research fellow at the Refugee Studies Centre (RSC), University of Oxford. Founded in 1982, the RSC is a world-class center for research and education in the area of forced migration and refugee studies. Pool has been a senior researcher at the MPIfG since October 2022. Her dissertation, “‘Doing the Game’: The Moral Economy of Coming to Europe,” won numerous awards last year, among them the Otto Hahn Medal of the Max Planck Society and the Maria Ioannis Baganha Best Dissertation Award for Migration Research.
