Cooperation Agreement Between Universidad Central de Chile and the MPIfG

Following the conclusion of the Max Planck Partner Group for the Study of the Economy and the Public, which ran from 2020 to 2025, collaboration between the MPIfG and Universidad de Chile (UCEN) has been secured as of 2026 with a long-term cooperation agreement. Central to the two institutions’ collaboration is an exchange program for doctoral and postdoctoral researchers. The agreement also covers the organization of joint workshops, conferences, and research projects as well as collaboration on academic material and publications. In particular, it connects the UCEN’s Doctorate in Advanced Social Studies program (DESA) and Centre for Research in Economics and Society (ESOC) with the MPIfG’s research program.
