Zum 1. April hat Isabell Stamm eine Professur für Organisations-, Arbeits- und Wirtschaftssoziologie an der Technischen Universität Berlin übernommen. Die Wissenschaftlerin war von 2021 bis März 2025 Leiterin der Forschungsgruppe „Unternehmen, Eigentum und Familienvermögen“ am MPIfG. Ihre Forschung ist an der Schnittstelle von Organisationssoziologie, Ökonomie und sozialer Ungleichheit angesiedelt. mehr

Das MPIfG und die Universidad de Chile (UCEN) haben einen neuen Kooperationsvertrag unterzeichnet, der den wissenschaftlichen Austausch zwischen beiden Einrichtungen intensivieren soll. Diese Vereinbarung baut auf einer seit 2020 bestehenden Max-Planck-Partnergruppe an der UCEN auf, die zum Ende dieses Jahres ausläuft. mehr

Tobias Arbogast hat Ende März seine Dissertation „Navigating by the Stars: The Role of the ‚Natural Rates‘ in Monetary Policy“ an der Universität zu Köln erfolgreich verteidigt.
