Visiting researchers at the MPIfG in the first quarter of 2019

The MPIfG is welcoming four international visiting researchers in January and February 2019. Zoé Evrard, Doctoral Fellow at the Paris MaxPo Center on Coping with Instability in Societies, is researching neoliberalization through elite consensus using Belgium as a case study. Ashoka Mody is Charles and Marie Robertson Visiting Professor in International Economic Policy at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, Princeton University. His topic during his visit to the MPIfG at the end of January is "The elusive search for European saviors." Edward Fischer is Professor of Anthropology and Director of the Center for Latin American Studies and the Institute for Coffee Studies at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He is visiting the MPIfG from February to March and will be looking at "Coffee, theory of value, and capital accumulation in the late capitalist era." J. Nicholas Ziegler, Professor at the Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs at Brown University, is visiting the MPIfG from the end of February and will explore the politics of institutional change in Germany.
