How to apply

Submit your application for admission to the MPIfG Postdoctoral Program online. Since your registration as an applicant and your application form are submitted in one document, it is essential that you read this entire section carefully. You may apply as of November 1. The deadline for applications is January 31.


The Procedure at a Glance

  • Start compiling your documents early. You will need a fair amount of time to get all the information together.
  • Fill out the Application Form.
  • Ask up to two referees to write a reference and send it to .
The Application Form - including your contact information, educational background, and your preferred research cluster at MPIfG - is also the form with which you register to take part in the whole online application procedure. When we have received your application form, you will get a confirmation mail.
