Mark Lutter Receives MPIfG Advisory Board Award 2014

Mark Lutter received the MPIfG Advisory Board Award 2014 for his paper "Is There a Closure Penalty? Cohesive Network Structures, Diversity, and Gender Inequalities in Career Advancement" (MPIfG Discussion Paper 13/9). Frank Dobbin, Chair of the MPIfG Advisory Board, cited the paper’s outstanding contribution to network analysis. Leonhard Dobusch and Sigrid Quack received an honorable mention for their article in the Review of International Political Economy (2013), "Framing Standards, Mobilizing Users: Copyright versus Fair Use in Transnational Regulation," as did Thomas Paster for his article in World Politics (2013), "Business and Welfare State Development: Why Did Employers Accept Social Reforms?" The Advisory Board recognizes the best journal article, paper, or book chapter published by an MPIfG researcher in the previous two years by conferring the award when it meets to evaluate the institute.
