New Minerva Research Group on the History of Complexity

From April 2014, Ariane Leendertz is to head a research group studying the political and scientific approaches taken since the 1960s on social complexity as well as the associated processes involved in the "economization of the social." Leendertz is a historian and has been a researcher at the MPIfG since 2010. The Max Planck Society's Minerva programme aims to improve the working conditions for young female scientists. Following a rigorous selection period, the programme offers successful candidates contracts to help qualify them for leadership positions. more
