Fritz Thyssen Foundation Award Goes to Martin Höpner, Alexander Petring, Daniel Seikel, and Benjamin Werner

Martin Höpner, Alexander Petring, Daniel Seikel, and Benjamin Werner have received the Fritz Thyssen Foundation Award for Social Science Articles Published in 2011 for their article "Liberalisierungspolitik - Eine Bestandsaufnahme des Rückbaus wirtschafts- und sozialpolitischer Interventionen in entwickelten Industrieländern," (the politics of liberalization - an empirical analysis of economic and social interventions in Western democracies) published in the Kölner Zeitschrift für Soziologie und Sozialpsychologie 63/2011. The article is a result of the work done by the MPIfG Research Group on the Political Economy of European Integration. The award will be presented on October 3 at the 2012 DGS Congress in Bochum.
