Visiting Researchers in Spring 2012

Maria Luisa Marinho, a doctoral researcher from the University of Warwick, will be a visiting researcher at the MPIfG from March to July 2012 to work on her dissertation on health inequalities and social capital in Chile.  
Maria Markantonatou from the
University of the Aegean in Mytilene, Greece, will be at the MPIfG from April to September. She is working on the Eurozone's response to the debt crisis.  
Akos Rona-Tas, Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of California-San Diego, has returned to the MPIfG as a visiting researcher from April to June. He is currently focusing on uncertainty in credit markets and the social conditions of formalizing decision making.  
Harrison Grafos, a doctoral researcher from the
University of Pittsburgh, will also return briefly to the MPIfG in May to do research for his dissertation on the reform of the French and German postal services.
