Gabriel Rompré, a masters student from the Sciences Po, Paris, visited the MPIfG from October 2011 to February 2012. He is studying the influence of religious culture on economic developments in Quebec.
Edward F. Fischer, Professor at the Center for Latin American Studies, Vanderbilt University, Nashville, is visiting the MPIfG as a researcher from January to March 2012. He is currently working on the ways moral values affect economic rationalities. He has conducted fieldwork with the Maya of highland Guatemala and consumers in northern Germany.
Olga Malets, a researcher and lecturer at the Technical University of Munich, Chair of Forest and Environmental Policy, is visiting the MPIfG from February to March 2012. She is examining the interplay of global and local processes of transnational regulation.
Sebastian Billows, doctoral student at the Sciences Po, Paris, is a visiting researcher at the MPIfG from February to June 2012. He is working on his dissertation on categorizing and evaluating artists.
