The Society of Friends and Former Associates of the MPIfG awarded Mark Lutter this year’s Journal Prize for his article "Zur Erklärung von Diffusionsprozessen: Das Beispiel der Einführung staatlicher Lotterien in den USA" (Zeitschrift für Soziologie 39, 2010). The 750-euro prize recognizes the best article by an MPIfG researcher published in refereed journal. Mark Lutter has been a researcher at the MPIfG since 2005.
