The Society of Friends and Former Associates of the MPIfG awarded Geny Piotti with this year’s Journal Prize for her article "Cost Reduction through Relocation, or the Construction of Myths in Discourse" (Competition and Change 13, 2009, 305-326). The 500-euro prize recognizes the best article by an MPIfG researcher to be published in a refereed journal. Geny Piotti has been a researcher at the MPIfG since 2005.
