Jens Beckert Becomes a Member of the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities
Jens Beckert was elected as a full member within the social sciences group of the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities (BBAW). His election was confirmed on November 26 in Berlin at the Academy’s session in celebration of Einstein Day. Jens Beckert has been a director at the MPIfG since 2005. The BBAW, an independent association of leading scholars, promotes interdisciplinary academic research which often involves collaboration between universities and other research institutions.
