Visiting Researchers and New Postdoctoral Fellows at the MPIfG in Fall 2010
b>May Zuleika Salao, a doctoral student from the University of Asia and the Pacific, Manila, will be a visiting researcher at the MPIfG from October 2010 to March 2011. In her dissertation she investigates skill formation and continuing vocational training in emerging industries
Stéphane Guittet will be a visiting researcher at the MPIfG from October until December 2010. Guittet is a doctoral student in the Otto-Hahn Junior Research Group "Economic Patriotism" which is led by Cornelia Woll at Sciences Po, Paris. In his research he looks at whether regulatory institutions should be reconsidered in light of the transformations in the financial sector.
Joachim Krapels, a doctoral student at the University of Cambridge, will be a visiting researcher at the MPIfG from October until December. In his work he examines the social mechanisms of institutional change.
Viktoria Kalass, a doctoral student at the University of Kasssel, will be a visiting researcher at the MPIfG from October 2010 to June 2011.
Ronen Mandelkern from the Department of Political Science of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem joined the MPIfG as a postdoctoral fellow in September. His research examines macroeconomic responses to the global economic recession.
Werner Reichmann from the University of Constance joined the MPIfG as a postdoctoral fellow in October. He is investigating institutionalized forms of knowledge in contemporary economies.
Rebecca Oliver from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, also began her stay as a postdoctoral fellow at the MPIfG in October. She is currently working on a research project on collective wage bargaining and precarious employment situations in Europe.
