Baptiste Françon, a doctoral candidate at the University Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, is a visiting researcher at the MPIfG from March through April. He is conducting research for his dissertation on the political economy of the Hartz reforms in Germany.
Charlotte Halpern is a research fellow at the Fondation nationale des Sciences Politiques au Laboratoire PACTE in Grenoble and is a visiting researcher at the MPIfG from March through June. She is preparing a book in which she seeks to understand the logic of state restructuring in Europe by analyzing the politics of airport planning in France and Germany from a long-term perspective.
Patrik Aspers is an Associate Professor at Stockholm University and is a visiting researcher at the MPIfG from February through May. He is collaborating with Jens Beckert on a research project about the worth of goods.

Sonja Juko is a doctoral candidate at Frankfurt University and is a visiting researcher at the MPIfG from March through August. She is collaborating with Wolfgang Streeck and Daniel Mertens on a project that analyzes the fiscal crisis of the state in contemporary capitalism.
Stefan Kesting is a Senior Lecturer in Economics at Auckland University and will be a visiting researcher at the MPIfG from May through June. During his time in Cologne, he will be doing research on the economic relevance of communicative action.
