A new issue of the Gesellschaftsforschung newsletter was published in December featuring globalization and transnational governance. The questions addressed in this most recent newsletter include: How can transnational economic processes be regulated in a way that avoids negative consequences for societies, in view of the current financial crisis? Do controversial copyright laws offer too much or too little protection? Do transnational standards permit local actors greater participation in negotiating labor relations? The newsletter is published in German two to three times a year and contains information on research projects and results, publications, and events at the MPIfG.
