Paul Lagneau-Ymonet Awarded Doctorate

In November 2009, Paul Lagneau-Ymonet received his doctorate from the École des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS). He received the best possible grade in the French academic system (mention très honorable avec félicitations du jury à l’unanimité) for his dissertation, a socioeconomic examination of the evolution of the Paris stock market. Lagneau-Ymonet, a visiting researcher at the MPIfG in 2009, is working with Helen Callaghan on the "Limits of Political Intervention in the Financial Sector" and with Sigrid Quack on her project on "The Setting of International Financial Reporting Standards."
