Michael Reif Awarded the University of Göttingen's Wolfgang Enke Prize for 2008
Michael Reif has received the Wolfgang Enke Prize for 2008 from the Department of Sociology at the University of Göttingen for his master's thesis, which looks at Galton's problem and the comparative study of welfare states, focusing on methodology and a connected history perspective. The prize, which is given annually for outstanding work in the field of social policy, will be awarded on January 31, 2009, in Göttingen. Michael Reif has been a doctoral candidate at the IMPRS-SPCE since October 2008.
